Instead of finding, we should focus more on creating cost effective packaging. There is a big difference in the two terminologies because finding means looking for something already made, Settling for something you can actually create from scratch as per your requirement is the worst thing you can do, Sleeve packaging boxes can be one of the cost effective ways to create something for your product.

To be honest, it depends on the product you require packaging for and how it measures on the plane. If you can, please try and measure your product very carefully taking measurements; length x width x depth. Once you have those measurements, provide them to your packaging supplier and make sure you let them know that the provided measurements are of the product. 

Once you narrow down the design, move on to the next step which is figuring out the budget plan for the packaging. This will help you narrow down the preferred sleeve style packaging as well as get you started in the right direction. 

Move on to selecting or getting help with the design you need printed on the boxes. If you already know what you want on the boxes, go ahead and double check the requirement of the files with the vendor. Usually the requirements are pretty similar for all vendors. The optimal format requirement for the design files are .ai, .pdf, .cdr and .psd with a minimum of 300dpi resolution. 

Depending on the measurements of the product, there are a series of material variations for you to choose from. Usually it is recommended to keep it proportional to the size of the product - as the size increases, the thickness of the material is also increased. It should be considered that the sleeve packaging boxes are capable of handling the weight if the material used or they will just collapse under the weight of themselves.

Printing can be very creative and in any color that your brand or company requires. You can print on the inside and outside of the sleeve packaging boxes with as many colors as you need.

With each passing day, the use and promoted use of Kraft (eco-friendly) material is increasing in preference. Since there is a serious increase in demand, the cost of creating sleeve packaging in Kraft material may sum up to be higher than anticipated. Whenever that thought comes to mind, know that it is expensive for a good cause, saving the planet. This certainly answers the question of the possibility of producing them to be environmentally friendly and still being able to print on them.

Brand your product using Kraft material and print just the company design in one solid color. Leave the rest to the eco-friendly material and your brand design joined up with the sleeve packaging. 

Some companies also tend to use just sleeves to go over their product container and this saves on cost for them. It is possible that you follow the same pattern and only cover parts of your product to save up on cost to produce. Another direction to proceed in to keep price in control would be to order in bulk because that drives the cost per unit down. Material thicknesses can also be contributing directly to the price and it is not recommended to go above 16pt (350 gsm) unless it is a very heavy or large product in which case 24pt is recommended.
